It's just past the halfway point of the season and our esteemed Japanese tipster Wankazashi takes a close look at the club sitting pretty at the top of the Division 3C table, Dinamo Zagreb. As a team, they have been unbeaten in the league so far, a record that while manager Jatex Cole attributes to the "powers-may-be", is a more than fitting tribute to the current team who have literally worked their socks off.

The Zagreb captain has certainly come to the fore with his displays in midfield this season. He has finally matured into a first-class deep-lying attacking midfielder and is equally comfortable on the wing. Rados has a great all-round game and has been showing the aptitude required to lead a team. Needs to improve on his temperament and needs to score more though.

Olexandr Buryi

This Ukranian international backs a mean punch and he has certainly showed it this season. He is a potent midfield player who adds a new dimension to the centre of the pitch with his ability to shoot from range and spot the killer pass. His two goals and an assist in his sole appearance for Ukraine this season showed his class.

Juan Manuel Gutiérrez de Cos

The Spanish forward has long been hailed as the next big thing but has only broken fully into the first team this season. Has been one of the mainstays in the squad with his lightning pace and impressive shooting. Is in need of a good strike partner to back him up at the moment though. Gutiérrez de Cos has also reportedly attracted the attention of some clubs but is not likely to move in the near future.

The Zagreb keeper has been in top form this season, rarely putting a foot wrong. He is one of the main reasons why Zagreb has only let in two goals so far in the league. Is good in the air and has kept his first team place ahead of the emerging Marcel Need.

A pre-season buy from Brann, Repvik is a strong defender who goes about his work quietly. Reliable and tidy at the back, the defender has been putting in some praise-worthy displays for the Blues.

Age has certainly not slowed down Rajic as he still figures in the Zagreb defence. He is one of the main reasons for the club;s excellent defensive record as he is often deployed behind the main defence as the sweeper, clearing up the through balls and protecting his 'keeper.

Michael is a traditional centreback in the sense that he rarely goes foward in what is mainly an attacking team. The Australian prefers to stay back to support his teamates and is on hand when a counter-attack happens. Has been on generally good form this season.
